Ensemble 96

The chamber choir Ensemble 96 focuses on contemporary music and has won various honors, including a Grammy nomination. The group has commissioned various new works from Norwegian composers. Nina T. Karlsen has been the group's conductor since 2011. Since the beginning of its recording career, Ensemble 96 has been associated with the audiophile 2L label, issuing its debut album, Ars Nova: Liknarbraut, in 2002. Ensemble 96 joined the Current Saxophone Quartet for the album Pax in 2024.
