In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. This consists of two experiences synergised together. The 1st at the age of 5 was drifting in water feeling the rays of sun through this enveloping medium. The 2nd was picking up the violin at age 7 and feeling this same feeling with bow and string. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hildur Guðnadóttir, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Skúli Sverrisson, Iridescence - EP Jon Hopkins, Asleep Versions - EP Nils Frahm, All Melody Asleep Versions was what awoken something deep within myself - a curiosity of sorts for exploring sonic narratives that had deep visceral experiences. The next 2 extended that former feeling in a deeply intentional way, it was so inspiring and pure. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “shadowbloom” It's an expression of a yearning within myself to derive something pure and musical but that which affects every listener and touches them to have their own experiences with it. I felt at this point I was able to combine all that I wanted to convey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating an immersive sonic construct at an old power station - it's scale epic and inspiring, and being able to create a show that brings the audience on an experiential sonic journey - this was in 2024 at 24OWLS Hall A - a preview of my new music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? No - (this is not a question I can answer with direct clarity) - I try as much to live in the moment and be present to give it as much importance as the moments before or that which is to come. I've learnt to be content within the present.
