Charles Dutoit conducted an all-French programme and included the infectious Le Bœuf Sur Le Toit by Darius Milhaud. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Charles Dutoit, George Malcolm, Pascal Rogé, Philharmonia Orchestra, Poulenc: Piano Concerto - Organ Concerto - Gloria Czech Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic Choir, Jiří Bělohlávek, Martinů: Field Mass, Memorial to Lidice & Symphony No. 4 Musica Contexta, Simon Ravens, Palestrina: Music for Maundy Thursday I absolutely love all Poulenc's music but the keyboard concertos with The Philharmonia conducted by Charles Dutoit are divine. The Palestrina is such a wonderful blend of sound combined with a special liturgical meaning. The Martinu is special. Czech Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic Choir, Jiří Bělohlávek, Martinů: Field Mass, Memorial to Lidice & Symphony No. 4 Working with the Czech Phil is a wonderful privilege. I have long admired their sound on the Superphon label. Their playing on this album under Jiří Bělohlávek is colourful and warm. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording with the Czech Philharmonic in the iconic Dvorak Hall in 2024. Just as I was about to go on to the stage, I thanked the Orchestral Manager for the privilege of standing on the podium there. It was a very proud moment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to work with the Berlin Phil. one day. Their musicians as individuals and together as a group is legendary.
