Gerald Peregrine
Biography
Cellist Gerald Peregrine has a wide repertory and range of musical interests, from concertos to chamber music, orchestral playing, and popular session work. He is a member of Ireland's Ensemble Avalon. Peregrine has appeared on albums by major pop artists, including Sinead O'Connor. In 2008, he made his recording debut with contemporary Celtic vocalist Fiona Wight on her album The Last Rose. In 2019 and 2024, Peregrine and pianist Antony Ingham issued the albums Folk Tales and Folk Tales, Vol. 2, featuring miniatures for cello and piano.
