Apple Music Classical

Charles Ives è stato forse il primo a dare forma a una musica peculiarmente americana, in debito con la tradizione europea ma distante da essa per influenze popolari tipiche del cosiddetto Nuovo Mondo. In un periodo relativamente breve, il multiculturalismo statunitense ha prodotto stili e generi capaci di riflettere ampi spazi e distanze smisurate, favorendo allo stesso tempo sperimentazioni cresciute col ritmo e l’estetica delle città. Dal jazz di Gershwin al minimalismo di Glass, la varietà dell’espressione compositiva è uno sbalorditivo viaggio sonoro che sembra non conoscere confini.
