Modigliani Quartet

모딜리아니 콰르텟은 2003년 결성되어 활발한 연주 활동을 통해 오늘날 가장 뛰어난 현악사중주단 중 하나로 자리매김하며 국제적인 명성을 쌓아왔다. 르 몽드(Le Monde) 등의 주요 언론에서 "세계 최고의 현악사중주단 중 하나"라는 평을 받아 온 모딜리아니 콰르텟은 2025/26 시즌부터 라디오 프랑스 상주 음악가로 활동하며 다양한 실내악 무대를 선보이고 있다. 이번 2026 통영국제음악제에서의 공연은 한불수교 140주년 공식 기념행사의 일환으로 진행되며, 19세기 말 인상주의부터 20세기 현대음악에 이르는 폭넓은 프로그램을 선보일 예정이다. Founded in 2003, the Modigliani Quartet has cultivated an outstanding international reputation, firmly establishing itself among the world’s leading string quartets. Hailed by leading publications such as Le Monde as “one of the world’s greatest string quartets,” the ensemble commands an active and vibrant global performance schedule. In the 2025/26 season, they serve as Artists-in-Residence at Radio France, curating and presenting a wide array of chamber music programs. Presented in official celebration of the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, the Quartet’s highly anticipated festival appearance will feature a dynamic program spanning late 19th-century Impressionism to 20th-century modernism, highlighting the ensemble’s remarkable breadth and artistic depth.
