Amanda Aldridge was an African British singer, pianist, and composer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known for her parlor songs and instrumental suites. She was also an influential vocal instructor and mentor to several important performers, including Earl Cameron, Marian Anderson, and Lawrence Brown.
