Richard Jones

Biography

Of a throng of rockers who come running when the name Richard Jones is shouted, this one presents the greatest possible contrast between the stereotypical lowliness of his employment position and the sheer number of people who have held albums in their hands that include a credit for Jones, albeit in small print and probably with a beer stain on it. He has been an equipment technician for the Australian heavy rockers AC/DC for more than a decade and probably has nightmares about bass strings that look like they have been chewed on by water dragons or fuses blown the color of ripe kangaroo hide. He should not be confused with musicians of the same name in groups such as the Climax Blues Band and Stereophonics. ~ Eugene Chadbourne
