In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father puts on a record of Bach and our house is filled with the most enchanting sounds I have ever heard What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? András Schiff, Schiff Plays J.S. Bach Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Marc Johnson, Peter Erskine, Bass Desires Esa-Pekka Salonen, San Francisco Symphony, Stravinsky: The Rite of Spring I love jazz and classical music. Bass desires is an exceptional album by four jazz masters. The rite of Spring is one of my favorite compositions along with many other works by Stravinsky. Tell us why you chose this song. “Arabic Lessons - Komposita” It illustrates is my unique compositional voice. It won many prizes and awards and I am very proud of it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My music being performed in Carnegie Hall by the Berliner Saxophone Quartet Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course! Many things.
