The claustrophobic intensity of Oscar-nominee Jackie is handed the perfect sonic mirror on this, Mica Levi’s disquietingly beautiful soundtrack. “Autopsy” pairs military drums with spacious piano, “Lee Harvey Oswald” features warped sliding notes and “Vanity” effectively splatters gore over lush ‘60s flute. Not bad considering that—after the jagged atmospherics she lent Under The Skin—this is only the second time the Micachu and the Shapes frontwoman has scored a film.
