Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla

This Spanish cleric was a composer who wrote primarily motets and villancicos. He served as a choir master at Coria Cathedral, and the cathedrals of Zamora and Toledo. Padilla also wrote an eight voiced Magnificat for more than one choir. ~ Keith Johnson
