John Isham

Biography

As an organist Isham held a number of positions including deputy to Croft in London, organist of St. Anne's, Soho, St. Andrew's, Holborn, and St. Margaret's, Westminster. He was a graduate of Oxford with a Bachelors in Music and composed a number of anthems two of which were contained in Croft's "Divine Harmony." With William Morley Isham collaborated on a collection of songs and included his own "Bury delights my roving eye." ~ Keith Johnson
