Tyler Futrell

American-born Norwegian composer Tyler Futrell has gained attention in his adopted country and beyond with works that synthesize historical influences in new ways. His works sometimes encompass choreographic aspects. Futrell has received career-development grants from major Norwegian organizations. An album of his works, Tyler Futrell: Stabat Mater; Brittle Fluid, Vuggesang, was released on the BIS label in 2024.
