Romuald Twardowski

Romuald Twardowski was a major Polish composer of the 20th century. Known for opera, he also composed a wide range of choral works and instrumental pieces in various genres. Unusually, he wrote music in Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Jewish idioms. Twardowski was also a prominent educator. By the time of his death in 2024, his music had been recorded in the West as well as in Poland.
