In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories of music is growing up in church and listening to my grandmother sing. She wasn’t doing solos, but she would harmonize EVERYTHING in the congregation. I think my harmonic language is largely due to my grandmother. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was winning an Emmy award for a PBS documentary titled “Dreamer” . The documentary is about my life/career and my budding relationship with Baltimore Choral Arts.
