Composer Harry Revel is best remembered for his work with Mack Gordon on songs for movie musicals of the 1930s, such as THE GAY DIVORCEE, and REBECCA OF SUNNYBROOK FARM. Several of their songs were nominated for Oscars. In 1939, Gordon left to write with Harry Warren, and Revel subsequently worked with lyricist Mort Greene on films like FOUR JACKS AND A JILL and MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE.
