Costanzo Antegnati

Costanzo Antegnati was a member of The Antegnati family of organ builders, composers and musicians. He is the most famous member of the family because of his discourse on the "art of the organ". He wrote a number of works containing madrigals, motets, masses, psalms, and ricercares. Costanzo had a flare for freedom in his writing and his playing achieving an almost heightened awareness for his audience. ~ Keith Johnson
