Charlotte Mundy

Charlotte Mundy is a Canadian soprano based in Brooklyn, specializing in contemporary and experimental music, known for entrancing audiences as she pushes far past the boundaries of classical vocal performance. She performs canonical modernist works such as Boulez's Le Marteau sans Maître as well as collaborating on interdisciplinary and avant-garde works with dynamic composers like Tyshawn Sorey. She is a founding member of the brilliant contemporary music ensemble TAK and of Ekmeles, which focuses on microtonal music. Her first album appearance came with TAK in 2016, Ecstatic Music: TAK plays Taylor Brook. Mundy has since appeared on several more albums, including The Sea (2025), containing works for multitracked voices by Francisco del Pino.
