Brahms: The Piano Trios

Each member of this very classy group is a magnificent Brahms player. Put them together and real magic happens. Brahms’ three trios span his creative life—No. 1 was completed when he was 20 (later revised, as played here), and Nos. 2 and 3 were composed while he was in his late ’40s and early ’50s.
