Toivo Tulev

Contemporary composer Toivo Tulev writes music characterized by distinct soundscapes and their structural implications. His works do not fit easily into traditionalist, modernist, or minimalist classifications. Tulev is also a prominent educator and the artistic director of a liturgical music group. A number of his works have been collected and recorded on the album Toivo Tulev: Dawn, Almost Dawn (2025).
