Johannes Cuvelier

French trouvere both poet and composer. Cuvelier composed ballades three of which were texts of his own device and arranged for three voices (e.g. "Lorsque Arthus"). These songs exemplify "complex" forms of the "subtle art". ~ Keith Johnson
