Gabriel Erkoreka
Biography
The works of composer Gabriel Erkoreka have been performed internationally. Partly trained in Britain, he has settled in London but retains strong ties to Spain and to the musical culture of his native Basque country. Erkoreka's music has been broadcast on radio as far away as Australia. As of the mid-2020s, about a dozen of his compositions had been recorded, including his cello concerto Ekaitza, which appeared on a 2024 recording by the Euskadiko Orkestra Sinfonikoa.
