King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Daniel Pemberton’s score for Guy Ritchie’s take on the Arthurian legends is as vibrant and visceral as you’d expect. Forgoing the conventions of an orchestral score, Pemberton combines sawing strings with clattering percussion and elements of English folk song, translating Ritchie’s rough, sweaty vision into sound; on “Growing Up Londinium”, he even incorporates someone panting to catch their breath.
