Theodore Antoniou

Antoniou studied at the National Conservatory in Athens, the Hellenic Conservatory and at The Munich Musikhochschule. He has received numerous commissions, grants and awards, including a US National Endowment for the Arts grant in 1970. A productive composer, Antoniou's early work employs folktunes and simple atonality. He later developed serial techniques and applied them in small, refined forms. ~ Lynn Vought
