Augustine Bassano

Bassano was a member of the Italian family of musicians who lived in England. He was a lute player as well as a composer who served in the court of Queen Elizabeth I. Augustine's known works are dances, specificaly a set of pavans and galliards with associated subjects. ~ Keith Johnson
