Linda Catlin Smith

Composer Linda Catlin Smith has had works commissioned, performed, and recorded by leading ensembles in Canada and beyond. She is also a notable educator. Smith's chamber and keyboard works have been recorded since the 1990s. Smith retired from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2020 but continues to give private composition lessons. The 2024 collection Flowers of Emptiness was devoted to her music. By the mid-2020s, more than 20 of her compositions were available on recordings.
