Biography

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My very first musical performance, around age 5, was playing the Morris Albert song "Feelings" in a duet with my piano teacher at a recital. I wore a very lacy pink and orange dress and my feet didn't reach the pedals. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glenn Gould, Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 (1981 Recording) Ministry, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile These are albums that I can play on repeat and haven't gotten sick of even though I've been listening to them for decades. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Early in my career, Rachel Maddow featured my work The Gonzales Cantata on her show on MSNBC. I had to watch the show in a bar because I couldn't afford cable TV at the time. Seeing her rave about the album was an incredibly surreal experience.
