Héctor Campos Parsi

Campos-Parsi studied at the New England Conservatory and with Copland and Messiaen at Tanglewood and Boulanger at Fountainbleau. In addition to his compositional work, he has served as a music administrator. His music falls into the categories of nationalist and the international. The former incorporates elements of Puerto Rican folk music, the latter is a development from neo-classicism to electronic and aleatory music. ~ Lynn Vought
