Donnacha Dennehy

Composer Donnacha Dennehy has woven influences from Irish traditional and popular styles into a rigorous post-minimalist framework. His music has increasingly been recorded and performed in both academic and public venues. Dennehy is the leader of Dublin's Crash Ensemble, which specializes in contemporary music. Many of his compositions have been recorded, and in 2024, the U.S. ensemble Alarm Will Sound released the album Donnacha Dennehy: Land of Winter.
