Georges Lentz

The Luxembourgish-Australian composer Georges Lentz is considered a major figure in the musical cultures of both his home and his adopted country. His works define large spaces and often have a strong spiritual content, taking inspiration from astronomy, the Australian Outback, and Australian Aboriginal art along with contemporary classical procedures. Lentz has also become interested in sound design, sound art, and improvisation.
