Filippo Azzaiolo

Filippo Azzaiolo is most remembered for publishing two books of street songs without credit. He acknowledged them only after the success of his third volume. The effectual songs included "Da l'horto se ne vien la vilanella," "Torela mo' vilano," and "Chi passa per 'sta strada." The collections contain pieces and arrangements by Azzaiolo. ~ Keith Johnson
