Biography

Blending electronic dance music with classical training, Lindsey Stirling is a one-of-a-kind musician, performer, and songwriter who showcases her violin in her worldwide hits. ∙ First displaying her talent through online videos in the mid-2000s, Stirling gained popularity when she placed in the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent in 2010. ∙ Five of her LPs since 2012 have entered the Billboard 200 shortly after release, while also topping the Classical Crossover Albums chart. ∙ Lindsey Stirling (2012), Shatter Me (2014), and Brave Enough (2016) all were included on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Decade-End 2010s list. ∙ Variety named her as a top global digital star and included her on its 2015 Famechangers list. ∙ Nominated for five Billboard Music Awards, she has twice won Top Dance/Electronic Album honors: for 2015’s Shatter Me and 2017’s Brave Enough. ∙ In 2019, she was nominated for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program at the Daytime Emmys for her “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” on Live With Kelly and Ryan.
