De Britse muzikant Alan Parsons (1948) is het meest bekend van de formatie The Alan Parsons Project, die hij in 1975 samen met Eric Woolfson opricht. Daarnaast is hij ook een gerenommeerd producer en werkt hij in die hoedanigheid onder meer samen met Pink Floyd. Met deze band neemt hij bijvoorbeeld het legendarische album The Dark Side of the Moon op. Parsons brengt ook als soloartiest albums uit, zoals The Secret uit 2019.
