Jeremy Beck

Composer Jeremy Beck writes music rooted in tonality and traditional modes of expression, and he began doing so at a time when few other composers were pursuing similar avenues. Beck is also an educator and a practicing attorney. He has won various prizes and fellowships, and his music has frequently been recorded since the 1990s. A recording of Beck's Requiem for chorus for string orchestra by Coro Volante and the Cincinnati String Ensemble appeared in 2024.
