James Lentini

James Lentini is a composer, guitarist, and educator whose music has been performed by a number of American artists as well as international ensembles. His compositions span most genres: vocal, choral, chamber music, and orchestral. Westward Voyage, for solo guitar, won the 2002 Andres Segovia Composition Prize. His music has appeared on recordings from the Naxos and Navona labels, among others. Through Time and Place, a collection of some of his orchestral music, was issued in 2020. Lentini enjoys a respected career as an administrator of secondary education institutions.
