Stenhammar Quartet

With a large recording catalog and an international touring résumé, the Stenhammar Quartet has become one of Scandinavia's top string quartets. The group programs and records music by Swedish composers, including its namesake, Wilhelm Stenhammar, but has a wide repertory stretching from the Classical period to newly commissioned works. The Stenhammar Quartet has toured as far afield as India and Japan. Its catalog of recordings includes one of the first three string quartets of Kalevi Aho, issued in 2025.
