From his piano, James Heather delivers a postminimalist, ambient series of reflections on the world around him. The mood is gentle and introspective—you might easily be sitting in the room with him as he improvises. All but one of the pieces are inspired by events he read about in the news, but his imaginings are just as powerful even if you don’t know the original stories.
