Overture

Aria. Every valley shall be exalted (Tenor)

Chorus. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed

Bass. But who may abide the day of His coming? (Bass)

Aria. Behold, a virgin shall conceive (Alto)

Arioso. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth (Bass)

Chorus. For unto a child is born

Recitative. There were shepherds abiding in the field - Arioso. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them (Soprano)

Arioso. And suddenly there was with the angel (Soprano)

Chorus. Glory to God in the highest

Recitative. Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened (Alto)

Aria. He shall feed His flock like a shepherd (Soprano)

Chorus. Behold the Lamb of God

Aria. He was despised and rejected of men (Alto)

Chorus. And with His stripes we are healed

Arioso. All they that see Him Laugh Him to scorn (Tenor)

Chorus. He trusted in God that He would deliver Him

Recitative. Thy rebuke hath broken His heart (Tenor)

Aria. Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto His sorrow! (Tenor)

Recitative. He was cut off out of the land of the living (Tenor)

Aria. But thou didst not leave His soul in Hell (Tenor)

Chorus. Lift up your heads

Recitative. Unto which of the angels said He at any time (Tenor)

Chorus. Let all the angels of God worship Him

Aria. Thou art gone up high (Alto)

Chorus. The Lord gave the word

Aria. How beautiful are the feet of Him that bringeth glad tidings of salvation (Soprano)

Chorus. Their sound is gone out into all lands

Aria. Why do the nations so furiosly rage together (Bass)

Recitative. He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh them to scorn (Tenor)

Chorus. Hallelujah!

Aria. I know that my Redeemer liveth (Soprano)
