Biography

An Italian composer who served at least two decades in Bergamo and visited the Bavarian court, Rome and Venice. His repute went beyond the boundaries of the Italian borders as works of his could be found in Germany and Austria. The compositions of this organist, singer and poet include numerous masses, hymns, madrigals, motets, and compositions for organ.
