In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I vividly remember performing at a flee market outside, with my little brother. I very much enjoyed it, he did not. We earned quite a bit that afternoon and afterwards I got to buy a big doll with it, a (rather scary) doll that could walk by itself. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sonata for Piano and Violin in A major: I. Allegretto ben Moderato” Written as a wedding present, to me this first movement of the Franck Sonata symbolises love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing classical music at pop venues and festivals, such as Paradiso Amsterdam, Down the rabbit hole festival. The response is just so much more direct than in a classical hall, audiences were very open minded, I loved this experience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? - Play a full concert violin solo with free improvisations only - Play my improvisation concert 'The Zoo' in Japan
