Camerata Bern

Camerata Bern is one of Europe's leading chamber orchestras, performing music from the Renaissance to newly commissioned works. It has toured throughout the world and regularly performs with elite soloists. Since its debut, the ensemble has performed without a conductor, taking cues instead from its concertmaster and artistic directors. Camerata Bern has kept up a steady recording schedule in the 2020s, backing concertmaster Patricia Kopatchinskaja and cellist Thomas Kaufmann on the 2025 album Exile. In the mid-2020s, the ensemble's artistic partners were Kopatchinskaja, Steven Isserlis, and Sergio Azzolini.
