Lorelei Ensemble

Lorelei Ensemble proclaims a dual mission: "to advance and elevate women's voices, and to enrich the repertoire through forward-thinking and co-creative collaboration." The group specializes in contemporary music, often premiering new works and also regularly performing Renaissance and medieval music. Lorelei Ensemble was founded in Boston in 2007 by Beth Willer. The work of Lorelei Ensemble includes an educational component; it often works with younger female singers in residencies. In 2014, Lorelei Ensemble issued the album Live. Know. Love. on its own label. The group has issued several albums, including Christopher Cerrone: Beaufort Scales in 2024.
