Omar Najmi

Tenor and composer Omar Najmi remains rooted in his native Boston region but has appeared as a performer nationally and internationally. As a composer, he held a prestigious residency with the Boston Lyric Opera. Najmi has received various honors, including a Lorraine Hunt Lieberson Fellowship. He made his recording debut in 2024 in a performance of Danaë Xanthe Vlasse's Mythologies II. Najmi also appeared that year on the album Lawrence K. Moss: Unseen Paths.
