Biography
Carlotta Colombo is an Italian soprano specializing in the baroque and classical repertoire. Renowned for the clarity, agility, and richness of her voice, she has performed on prestigious stages across Europe, distinguishing herself through her refined musicality and her ability to bring complex lyrical characters to life. Colombo's operatic career took off with an impressive debut, performing the roles of La Musica and Proserpina in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo. Her recordings include works by Pergolesi (Livietta e Tracollo) and Zelenka (Missa Omnium Sanctorum). Her first solo album, Arianna in Rome, was dedicated to airs, laments, and cantatas from the 17th century.
