The Baroque group Ensemble 1700 has forged into the field of opera production, mounting and recording several little-known works. The orchestra has a long history of instrumental music concerts as well, many of them taking place in major European venues and at festivals. Ensemble 1700 has made award-winning recordings in both the instrumental and vocal fields. The group released the world premiere recording of Carl Heinrich Graun's opera Adriano in Siria in 2025.
