Irina Zahharenkova

Irina Zahharenkova is an Estonian musician who performs professionally on harpsichord, fortepiano, and modern piano, sometimes deploying all three within a single concert program. She teaches piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and works as an accompanist at the Kuopio Academy of Music and Dance in Finland. Her recordings reflect her multi-instrument specialization: in 2007, following her Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Award, she recorded repertoire including Bach's Partita No. 4 and Scarlatti's Sonata in C major, K. 49, for the Trust; she later released the complete Goldberg Variations (2010) and an album of Scarlatti Sonatas (2012). In 2026, she appeared as harpsichordist on Echoes of My Childhood, an album with cellists Daniel Müller-Schott and Anderson Fiorelli recorded on a historical Neupert harpsichord that belonged to Müller-Schott's mother.
