Jin Ta is a Chinese flutist, educator, and composer who has served as principal flute of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra since 1998. His career spans orchestral performance, teaching, and composition. In 2026, he appears as a soloist on the album John Williams: Flute Concerto; Bernard Herrmann: Souvenirs de Voyage, recorded with the Singapore Symphony under the direction of Darrell Ang and Joshua Tan. Among other works, he performs Williams's Concerto for Solo Flute, Strings and Percussion.
