Biography

Jennifer Holloway is an American soprano celebrated for the power and color of her voice across a range of 19th and early 20th century operatic roles. She has become a sought-after performer for youthful dramatic roles such as Salome and Sieglinde. Appearing on major international stages including the state operas of Vienna and Hamburg and Lyric Opera of Chicago, Holloway made her Bayreuth Festival debut as Sieglinde in Die Walküre in 2025. Her recordings include title roles in Palazzetto Bru Zane's releases of Gounod's Le Tribut de Zamora (2018) and Saint-Saëns's L'Ancêtre (2025), a recording of Schreker's Der ferne Klang (2021), and Chrysothemis in the Bergen Philharmonic's Elektra opposite Iréne Theorin (2026).
