Andrés Gabetta

After being noticed by cellist and conductor Christophe Coin, Andrés Gabetta, a French-Argentinian violinist and conductor, became known as a specialist in historically informed Baroque performance. Recognized for this dual role, he acts as a bridge between historical musicology and modern interpretation. In 2010, Gabetta and his sister, cellist Sol Gabetta, founded Cappella Gabetta. In 2026, Pentatone released From Venice to Buenos Aires, which he recorded as both violinist and director.
