Biography
Baritone Philippe Estèphe has a large repertory extending to German, Italian, and English opera and concert music, as well as French works. He has a strong enthusiasm for Bach's music and has performed major Bach works, including the St. Matthew Passion, BWV 244. Estèphe's repertory stretches from the mid-Baroque to late Romantic and early modern works. He amassed a substantial recording catalog during the first part of his career, and in 2024, he was featured on an Alpha label recording of Fauré's Requiem.
